What are we looking to accomplish with Transforming Talent Insights as a crew together with Chief Talent Navigator Elizabeth Lembke?
Transforming Talent Insights was launched in May 2018 as a newsletter for people in the world of work, in other words you and me, to learn about the trending themes, underlying principles, thought leadership, important perspectives that may not come across one’s feed, and with with a bit of healthy whimsey as your Chief Talent Navigator and #devilsadvocatefortalent, Elizabeth Lembke. Drawing in from my work as a Talent & HR Innovator and Consultant with my background as a Director for Global Talent & Human Resources, work and organizational psychologist, and all around developer of human potential.

So what is the focal point around how we are feeding said passion?
Much of the work of Transforming Talent is based in the concept of fulfillment. Back in 2018, in their study around “Making work more meaningful - Building a fulfilling employee experience” PwC identified three main pillars of a fulfilling work experience: impact (meaningful work via what you do / goals you believe in), growth (how you willingly lean into challenges, new / first time experiences, so your potential blossoms ), relationships (sense of belonging and connection with whom you work with e.g. glean from and learn with).
I add an important fourth one, fostering brave spaces. This is about how are we showing #courageforandwith at work. Challenging the status quo to ask “does it have to be this way? Then stepping up and stepping in to show civil and innovation courage at work by creating brave spaces in order to stretch, grow, and learn towards a fulfilling work and life experience - together.
Our main focal point: how can we foster fulfillment at work - for ourselves, our teams, our future?
So over the past few years of the newsletter, in addition to diving deeper into various topics effecting us at work, we highlighted and showcased examples on how fulfillment and fostering brave spaces DOES work in the real world - and the research to back it up. (If interested, you can find the archives of the favorites on the website Transforming Talent , as unfortunately they couldn’t be added here to Substack from Revue). Then in 2022, we then looked to see if we can identify the underlying principles (and if they were meme-able) of transformation through a 12 #doitolearnit destination Port-of-Calls on the A-Maze Transformation Passport (you can find an a-mazing playlist on YouTube).
This year, based on feedback from the incredible Transforming Talent Insights Crew, we are saying Cheers to Thee, 2023!

Transforming via YOUR Insights
via a series of podcasts (the first one is here) and reflection questions as we look to how we are fostering our own fulfillment via our #impactgrowthrelationships and building out brave spaces for ourselves and others.
So, with that I bid you welcome to our new space here on Substack! I, and we, are learning this platform as we grow so there will be a few #learningwobbles along the way. But that is all part of going into the brave space of learning - together!
